The Student Art Association provides instruction and studio experience in the arts at the novice and intermediate levels in an extensive range of media. The program is designed for MIT students, though all members of the MIT community may participate as space permits. Sign up to develop or refine your art in an open, hands-on, unpressured environment.

Register Now!

Register for classes online by following this REGISTRATION LINK. Classes are offered during Fall, IAP, Spring, and Summer, and will be posted online several weeks before each term. Most classes meet once per week. Pre-registration is advised as some classes will fill, and it takes up to two weeks to activate your ID card for studio access. Pay online with credit card (Visa, Master Card, American Express, or Discover) or TechCash. For all fees listed, the lower fee is for students; the higher fee is for all other members of the MIT community.

If you are a current MIT student or employee, please register by using your MIT certificates. If you are an alum, spouse of a current student or employee, Harvard or Wellesley student without certificates, please contact saahelp@mit.edu for registration help.

If a course is cancelled, SAA will give credit towards another SAA course or refund your fee. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN AFTER THE FIRST WEEK OF CLASS. Make any checks payable to 'MIT SAA'.
