Chinese Painting: Bamboo

Bamboo is the one of most popular "four scholars Chinese painting". It is almost same as Chines calligraphy technique.This class introduce student how to hold the brush, control the brush, using the Chinese calligraphy brush strokes to do the bamboo.

Your artwork bursts into fluid motion as students work together, preplanning, then creating, the individual animated sequences which will become our finished group project (topic to be announced). The LineStorm approach illuminates the structure of computer animation programs and how traditional animation influences them. LineStorm works wonders with simple, ordinary materials: using lightboxes, action references, pens and card stock, participants build their own group project, to which everyone contributes sequences. Join us as we follow the engaging processes that bring static images to energetic, impetuous, compelling life! Participants take home all preparatory artwork, flipbooks and a DVD of the finished project.

Beginning Life Drawing
